HTML / CSS DEVELOPER
The Position:
At Maverick Internet Ventures we operate a group of consumer online commerce sites. We manage a very high volume of online marketing and transaction processing, as well as develop cutting-edge software to improve the efficiency, performance, and profitability of all of our systems. The Maverick office is a casual atmosphere where everyone enjoys what they do: we value hard work, but try not to take ourselves too seriously. It is our goal to enjoy our work and those we work with.
Right now we're looking for the next member of the Maverick team. We are currently looking for an experienced HTML/CSS Developer. As an HTML/CSS developer, you will be involved in assisting in the implementation of Maverick's marketing efforts, from idea to implementation. This position requires interaction with our Marketing, Creative, and Development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of plans laid out by the Marketing team – HTML/CSS coding of web pages, emails, and other marketing assets.
- Learning and using our custom eCommerce and CMS platform.
Absolutely Required:
- Hand-coded, semantic, standards compliant, valid HTML/CSS.
- Basic SEO best practices.
- HTML email development.
- Ability to frequently shift from independent projects to team projects.
Strongly Recommended:
- Graphic design skills
- Advanced SEO experience
A degree is not required, but it is a bonus. We value real world skills and positive outlook/attitude above diplomas and credentials.
